# Wallet

> Wallets for agents

Give each agent its own wallet or share a wallet between agents. Balances held in wallets are FDIC-insured<sup><a href="#fdic-disclosure" aria-label="See FDIC disclosure">1</a></sup> through partner banks.
Wallets present a single USD balance. Deposits and withdrawals settle over ACH from a linked bank account, and agents interact with one balance and one API.

## Example use cases

* **Pay** - Moving money on behalf of consumers
* **Request** - Requesting money from counterparties
* **Treasury management agents** - Optimizing yield and liquidity
* **Escrow agents** - Holding funds securely until conditions are met
